TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
*A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of ordering, to initiate the production of the gown, the balance is due for payment within 14 days of delivery of the order to Romantic Dreams.
*Where a cheque is used to pay the outstanding balance the goods will remain with Romantic Dreams until the cheque clears.
*The goods remain the property of Romantic Dreams until all outstanding monies have been paid in full.
*No goods are to be removed from the premises until all balances have been paid and cleared.
*All sale goods are Sold As Seen and are non-refundable
*All sale items must be paid for in full immediately or will remain on the shop floor for sale until payment has been made.
*MONIES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER ORDERS. ONCE GOODS ARE ORDERED YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS IF YOU SIMPLY CHANGE YOUR MIND (Sale of Goods Act 1979).
*In the event of the wedding being cancelled all outstanding balances become payable immediately.
*The customer has 7 days following the order date to cancel the order, upon this date the full balance of the order becomes payable, any deposit or monies paid in this 7 days are forfeited and non-transferable to any other goods.
*In the event of a customer avoiding contact when the balance is due, the card the deposit was paid on will be charged the outstanding amount plus storage costs and the goods will remain with Romantic Dreams until the customer collects. If the goods are not collected within 3 months they become the property of Romantic Dreams.
*Romantic Dreams accepts no responsibility for any changes which may occur to the body size or shape of the customer, this includes pregnancy.
*Measurements will be taken at the time of ordering and will be agreed by the customer
*Any fluctuation in body size or shape is the full responsibility of the customer and Romantic Dreams will NOT be held responsible for a dress not fitting if the customers measurements have increased/decreased since ordering.
ALTERATIONS and FITTING:
*The price of ALL garments EXCLUDES alteration costs, however this is a service we can offer.
*No alterations will be carried out until full payment has been made
*We reserve the right to refuse alterations that we deem to be detrimental to the garment.
*It is essential that customers wear the exact underwear and shoes intended for the wedding/event.
*The seamstress cannot be held responsible for any decisions made about the alteration of a garment after the alterations have been made if the customer requested them.
*Fitting days may be restricted to certain days of the week due to the seamstresses availability we ask that customers are flexible with accommodating this.
COLLECTION OF GOODS:
*As the goods are bespoke to each customer, the customer is required to inspect the goods before leaving the premises, once the customer has left the premises it is deemed the goods have been accepted.
*If the customer fails to collect the goods 3 months after notification of their arrival, these goods will be returned to stock for re-sale, all monies paid will be forfeited.
*We request that goods are collected within 14 days of notification that they are ready.
*All goods are covered by Romantic Dreams insurance whilst on the premises, once the goods leave, Romantic Dreams are no longer responsible, and alternative arrangements should be made to cover the goods.
*If you wish for Romantic Dreams to store your dress/dresses until the wedding or a time when you are happy to collect there is a one off fee of £25 to cover the insurance of the goods.
The terms and conditions of this agreement do not affect your statutory rights.
